We're closing, or at least these journals are. Gone but not forgotten as the saying goes. Might not be living our lives here, but still looking forward to a future with Megabyte. As he said, in the country with a dog and a couple of kids. Promised him that, grandkids and rocking chairs and not going back on it. Just doing it without an audience from here on in.

Thanks for all of you who have followed, commented, chatted to us on AIM. It's been great getting to know you all and making new friends.

Occured to me this morning that with the timing of Kev's post and the crap that is time zones(and me being way too tired to post at the time it did go up and make any actual sense) that I'm the last to do these posts, apart from Duo.

Wasn't feeling real happy about it at first then thought maybe this is the way it's meant to be.

This journal and Megabyte's were here at the beginnning. It was us who begun this. I'm the only host who's been through from beginning to end so maybe...yeah.

Three and a half years is a long time. A lotta memories. Good and bad.

No regrets.

Trowa asked me to come around and talk today about Quatre. He's worried about him, took one look at him and don't blame him. Guy looks like he hasn't slept in ages and isn't eating properly. Past exhausted, unshaven, definitely not dealing with the breakup with Kev. Not sure Trowa's too much better, just hiding it better because he's worried about Quatre.

Managed to persuade Quatre to take some sedatives for a few days to at least get some sleep

Can't keep an eye on them as much as I'd like with work and stuff and was wondering if you guys could help out. Doesn't sound like either of them have seen much of anyone for a while. We're trying to keep an eye on Kev as well, worried about all three of them but just because these guys have each other doesn't mean they're self-sufficient. Far from it.

Only managed to get Quatre to agree to the damn sedatives because I pointed out he couldn't be there for Trowa if he got sick, which he's gonna if he keeps going like this. Put my foot in it and didn't realise he hadn't told Trowa about the incident with the alien screwing with his immune system either and that's why he's been getting lot of coughs and stuff lately. Needs to look after himself properly if he's gonna pick up from that, and this year's been one thing after another.

Bloody stubborn, both of them. Was worried about the sedatives affecting Kev because of the bond too, but we figured if he and Tro are being driven to rebond - got them to admit to that, and been picking up on stuff - then probably be okay. Promised to keep an eye on Kev for them though in case it does, and Quatre will stop taking them if that happens. Wouldn't take them until I promised. Hoping it knocks both of them out for a day or so. Need it. Gonna get Megabyte to talk to his dad, get Trowa a couple of days off work.

Obvious as hell they both still love Kev and this hurts like hell. Don't know what happened exactly and not my place to ask. Just hate seeing them all like this. Wish I could do something, could have done something. True what they say. Can love someone with everything you are, doesn't mean the relationship's gonna work and you can live with them.

Been a real hetic last few weeks, online time just isn't happening as much as I'd like and updating this is getting more difficult to do.

Started new rotation at work this week, haven't done a psych one before so reading up on the text books refreshing my memory on stuff. Making for long days. Feels weird not having Ian and Chris around too, kinda got used to it. Had a chat to Em and me on the way to the airport, said they were thinking about moving out here, gonna work out details when they get home. Would be great if they do, having them close. Not the types to be on our doorstep all the time, but wanna be around, having missed so much already.

Examined Harry, decided to use my edge power to do it cause can go deeper especially with the stuff I was looking for. No sign of anything alien, that thing is definitely gone, but something different. Can't be sure but wonder if it rewrote some of his brain chemistry on a real deep level. Talked to him and he's been having dreams which sound a bit precog though not all coming true. Worried about it, about something wrong so decided to ask the ship as it knows a lot of stuff we don't.

Quatre came and helped out, ship communicates on an empathic and telepathic level. Didn't wanna ask Kev as he's busy with his course, and Megabyte was spending some time with Ian. Ship seemed happy, put Harry at ease which is a good thing. Needed that. Worried about Quatre though, wasn't happy dealing with the ship, didn't realise he had that many issues with it. Trowa came and took him home, way shaky on his feet and said they were gonna talk. Checked with Quatre a few days later to make sure he was okay, said he was fine, but know him well enough to know that doesn't mean a bloody thing.

Still need to read up on some stuff before bed, and wanna get it done early so I can spend some time with Megabyte. Missing him being back at work. Was nice just being able to be together without being on schedules. Not gonna miss that damn beeper though. Asked straight out and made sure there wasn't one for this.

Not tagging anyone cause think just about everyone's been tagged and done it already.

Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes and stuff. Party was great but was getting way suspicious by the time we got there even though I keep thinking I should worry about how well Ian, Liam and Quatre worked together to keep me in the dark.

Was way cool to get everyone together. Been way too long since we've done that. Been thinking we need to do something more regularly, not just wait for birthdays.

Megabyte and I did our own celebration when we got home *grins* Gonna need to sleep a few days to catch up.

Been meaning to do this post since the weekend but stuff has been real busy since we picked them up from the airport.

Flight went well but tiring. Ian keeps saying he's not as young as he used to be, and Chris grins and tells him he's way older. Ten minutes between them apparently and they've been doing this running joke most of their lives. Seem to be enjoying it here, although getting used to stuff being a bit different.

Need to organise a get together so we can all spend some time. Keen to meet you guys. Figure we'll do something about that when I finish work on Friday and take my leave time.

Nice having them here, settled into it really quickly, feels already like they've been here forever and they 'fit'. Kinda weird having family around, although got used to it with Em, Liam and the kids this is different. Don't feel right calling him 'Dad' though, brings back not good memories of Spenser and don't want that. Ian seems okay with it, I explained why and he said I need to do what's right for me. If that changes we'll talk about it again.

*smiles* Talked about Mum a bit too. Both of them have said Megabyte's humour is like hers, which I've always said, and that the two of them would have got on really well. I wish they'd had that chance.

Kinda makes me think about when stuff was rough for a while with Megabyte and me. Worth it though, cause of what we have now.

Think that one speaks for itself. Like the feel of this one too. Gotta few of his, one of the few CDs I own.

Cause when I'm with Megabyte, that's where I am. Lots of stuff in this song reminds of us of us. Were friends first, and still are. Love him. So much.

This one's us too. Especially the bit about not wasting time, and nothing worth having coming without some kind of fight. Think about mortality and wonder about how much time we have a lot more than I used to

My dad, Ian, and my Uncle Chris are coming to visit for three weeks, from the 16th of this month. They wanted to spend some time with us, and get to know our friends. Gives them the chance to also catch up with James and Em, Liam and the kids.

They'll be staying at Em's as she has the space and we don't, so probably will be spending a bit of time around there while they're here.

Gotta work the first week, finishing off couple of weeks in A&E this week and then first week of psych rotation that week, but have the last two off on leave. Megabyte's organised his schedule and projects so he's free the week I'm not but thinking they might come into work at least once for lunch. Been making noises about wanting to meet people, so will be introducing them around.

Feeling kinda nervous, yet excited as well. Still getting used to the fact I have family close who actually wanna spend time.
